Polycystic ovary syndrome is a common condition which affects how the ovaries work and how hormones function. Female-persons-assigned-at-birth with PCOS are often insulin resistant; their bodies can make insulin but can't use it effectively, increasing their risk for type 2 diabetes.

This webinar will guide PCOS sufferers on how to maintain their blood sugar and cope with insulin resistance. The webinar will cover:

• diagnostics of PCOS

• relationship with type 1, type 2 and GDM.

• presentation/incidence/evidence

• dietary/lifestyle management

• medications management

Guest speaker: Anita Beckwith, Clinical Lead Dietitian Diabetes and Fertility from Kings College Hospital.
