BSL-friendly Listening Event to share your experiences and improve maternity services

BSL-friendly Listening Event for Deaf and Hard of Hearing parents in East London to share experiences and improve maternity services.

If you are pregnant or recently had a baby, we would love you to join us for this friendly and accessible Listening Event hosted by the Maternity and Neonatal Voices Partnership.

This event is especially for Deaf and Hard of Hearing residents, but we warmly welcome all parents, birthing people and families from Newham, Waltham Forest and Tower Hamlets.

Your feedback and lived experience will help shape better maternity and neonatal care across Barts Health NHS Trust hospitals and community services.

This free event will be held on Thursday 27th November 2025, from 10am to 12.30pm at Discover Children's Story Centre, 383 - 387 High Street, Stratford, E15 4QZ.

You can meet with Barts Health NHS Trust representatives, information stalls from Infant Feeding Team, Perinatal Mental Health, Family Hub, and more. BSL-interpreters will be present at this event.
