Overall satisfaction for Newham University Hospital is at 41%.

The Accident & Emergency department accounted for 36% of all feedback with only 27% positive.

On Thursday 31 July, Healthwatch Newham joined the quarterly Maternity and Neonatal Voices Partnership (MNVP) event at Bethnal Green Library. The session brought together local women, birthing people, midwives, NHS staff, and community organisations from across Newham, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest.

We are saddened to share the news of Councillor Neil Wilson’s passing. As a dedicated champion for health and adult social care in Newham, this tribute honours his tireless service, deep compassion, and lasting contribution to our community.

On 27 June 2025, Deaf and Hard of Hearing residents gathered at 2 Gerry Raffles Square to share their experiences and concerns regarding health and care services in Newham. The session highlighted several ongoing barriers faced by the community, particularly around communication and access.
