When TikTok goes too far
On a busy Monday evening at Newham Hospital, an incident unfolded where a newly admitted patient began broadcasting live on TikTok from within the ward.
A nurse alerted security staff who explained the hospital's filming policy as the livestream captured staff and other patients raising confidentiality and data protection concerns. Unfortunately, the patient refused to comply and eventually left the hospital.
